You must complete and return a Tax File Number Declaration form within one week of commencing your temporary assignment.  Failure to do so will result in an incorrect tax rate being applied to your pay.

If you currently hold a Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 and 462) you must select ‘No’ to question 8 on the Tax File Number Declaration form (Do you wish to claim the tax-free threshold from this payer).

Regulations changed for anyone holding a Working Holiday Visa, that from 1 January 2017, the first $37,000 of your income is taxed at 15% and the balance is taxed at ordinary rates. Any income you earned prior to 1 January 2017 will be taxed based on your residency (most working holiday makers are foreign residents for tax purposes).

For more information regarding tax and entitlements please visit the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website:  https://www.ato.gov.au/

Subject to the governing rules of the relevant superannuation fund, you may authorise elle belle recruitment to pay on your behalf a specified amount from the post-taxation wages into the same superannuation fund as elle belle recruitment makes your superannuation contributions.
