Welcome Information

Welcome to elle belle recruitment, we hope you enjoy your time temping through our agency.

Whilst you are undertaking temporary assignments you must remember you are employed by elle belle recruitment and therefore from our staff we expect that you contact our office if:

  • You are running late to an assignment
  • You are lost or can not find the organisation
  • You are ill and are unable to attend work or finish early due to illness
  • Your original job description changes
  • You are requested to stay longer in the assignment

It is the responsibility of each temporary candidate to inform our office of your availability for the following week.

 

Expectations

  • Professionalism at all times
  • Punctuality
  • Commitment – 100% commitment for the duration of the assignment
  • Appropriate business attire, unless otherwise specified
  • Dedication to the assignment – Personal calls and smoking breaks are to be taken in your own time
  • Internet usage – the internet is only to be used for work related matters, unless otherwise stated by the client

 

Tax
You must complete and return a Tax File Number Declaration form within one week of commencing your temporary assignment.  Failure to do so will result in an incorrect tax rate being applied to your pay.

If you currently hold a Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 and 462) you must select ‘No’ to question 8 on the Tax File Number Declaration form (Do you wish to claim the tax-free threshold from this payer).

Regulations changed for anyone holding a Working Holiday Visa, that from 1 January 2017, the first $37,000 of your income is taxed at 15% and the balance is taxed at ordinary rates. Any income you earned prior to 1 January 2017 will be taxed based on your residency (most working holiday makers are foreign residents for tax purposes).

Superannuation
You have the choice of superannuation funds you wish to have contributions paid into.  elle belle recruitment will deposit the standard 10% (SGC) superannuation into an Australian Super fund should you choose not to nominate your superannuation fund account

Subject to the governing rules of the relevant superannuation fund, you may authorise elle belle recruitment to pay on your behalf a specified amount from the post-taxation wages into the same superannuation fund as elle belle recruitment makes your superannuation contributions.

Timesheet
Following confirmation of your temporary assignment you will receive an email from ‘Timeadder’ (online timesheeting system).  It is your responsibility to login to Timeadder, to create a timesheet and submit to the client for the hours you have worked each week.  You will receive notification once the client has approved or rejected your submitted timesheet.

It is your responsibility to ensure the client has logged into Timeadder and approved your timesheet to ensure your pay is processed on time and accurately
You will be notified by email from Timeadder once your timesheet has been approved.  Your pay cycle will be weekly by direct debit into your chosen account and accessible in your account every Thursday.  In the event of a public holiday your pay may be debited the next business day.

Pay
Your hourly rate is based on the Private Sector Clerks award and conditions of your employment in accordance to the National Employment Standards (NES).  An ordinary work week will not exceed 38 hours.

 

Overtime
Overtime will be paid for any hours worked over thirty-eight hours per week.  The first 2 hours will be calculated at time and a half and then double time is paid thereafter.  All work on Sunday will be charged at a rate of double time.  Public holiday rates will be calculated at double time and a half
