With a loyal customer base and a busy workshop environment, they are looking for an organised and customer-focused professional to become the central point of contact between customers and the workshop team.

The Position:
This is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your automotive workshop, dealership or service centre experience and knowledge.  As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office while supporting the mechanics and workshop staff. This is a busy position that requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities.

The Duties:  

  • Welcome customers and provide a professional front-of-house experience.
  • Schedule vehicle servicing, repairs and workshop bookings.
  • Liaise with customers regarding appointments and general enquiries.
  • Coordinate workflow between customers and the workshop team.
  • Process invoices, accounts payable and customer information.
  • Maintain accurate records within the workshop management system.
  • Assist with organising courtesy and rental vehicles when required.
  • Order office supplies and assist with general administration.
  • Provide ongoing support to the team to ensure efficient workshop operations.

The Requirements: 

  • Previous experience working within an automotive workshop, mechanical repair business, dealership or similar automotive environment.
  • Strong administration and computer skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
  • A current Victorian Driver Licence.
