The Company:
This well-known and highly successful membership-based organisation pride themselves on supporting their extensive member based with social and learning opportunities.  Due to recent changes, they are currently seeking a suitably experienced candidate to join their team as the Events Coordinator.

The Role:
Working in this newly created role you will be required to be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills and be able to show exceptional initiative.  You will be responsible for providing coordinating all member activities and events as well as managing larger functions.

The Responsibilities:

  • Some of your actual responsibilities will include;
  • Coordinate and facilitate all member groups and activities
  • Manage all requirements for functions including budget, catering, service providers etc
  • Assist with enquiries
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and service providers
  • Receive and follow up member feedback
  • Other duties as required

 

The Requirements:
To be successful for this role it is imperative that you possess strong proven experience in a similar role as well as:

  • Strong organisational and scheduling skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and rapport building experience
  • Exceptional problem solving and initiative
